Klarna is a popular Buy Now Pay Later payment method available in 22 countries/regions. With Klarna, the shopper can choose to:

  • Pay later: Pay after the goods have been delivered.
  • Pay over time: Pay in installments over time.
  • Pay now: Pay the whole amount instantly, either by online banking or direct debit.

Before approving the payment, Klarna performs risk checks on the shopper. If successful, Klarna takes on the full fraud risk for the payment, and pays you up front.

Klarna Merchant Portal

When you add Klarna as a payment method to your live account in the Customer Area, you receive an automated activation link to the dispute email address that you have provided. This email is the main login credential for the Klarna Merchant Portal. Note that you cannot change the dispute email address later.

As an Adyen Merchant, you have access to the following features of the Klarna Merchant Portal:

  • Users App: manage users in the organization and invite new ones.
  • Orders App: view information about orders and edit the shipping and billing details.
  • Branding App: manage how brand assets are shown on the Klarna's customer touchpoints.
  • On-Site Messaging App: manage how Klarna payment options are communicated to your customers. For more information, see the Klarna documentation.

Chargebacks
